March !!!??

ok. well. everyone should have their first payment by now. and some interesting conversations have been happening :-)

as you all probably know, I've been in Melbourne studying 'art in public spaces' (rmit) and it is realllllly fantastic. i think I've been sucked in completely. And its been good to see that what we've been doing in Nowa Nowa really stacks up pretty well.

there was one artist [http://taisnaith.com/ ]who presented some of her work which was part of the Next Wave Festival and eerily like our own Open for Inspection project .. and guess what.. she was hoping to do Mini Golf Course next. so that was all sorta cool to hear/see.

the other v groovy artist.. oh actually there were quite a few i could mention.. but one of particular interest is Cameron Robbins. http://www.cameronrobbins.com/

I've asked him if he would come down and do a hole if I can find some dosh. he said yes. so am hoping I might be able to rustle some up. (I've put in an application to RAV, but I know it wasn't one of my best. so am a bit nervous about that. )but anyway.. fingers crossed. I reckon he would be a really great addition to the space...

On a slightly different tangent. We've asked WWOOF http://www.wwoof.com.au/ to be 'supporters' of the project, to help promote the project to visiting wwoofers, which they have agreed to do ... so that's neat .

Getz has also spoken to the East Gippsland Association of Organic Agriculture to see if they would like to be involved in the development of the vegie garden..http://www.organicagriculture.asn.au/OAA%20History.htm
