I thought you might be interested to see one (or maybe 2, or maybe more to follow) of our Twitter pieces. This one has come from our wonderful EGiTAFE Visual Arts Students who continue to inject Nowa Nowa with great arty stuff. Thanks specially to Catherine Larkins and Jenny Toye for making it all happen. And thanks to the individual student/artists whose names I will add when I have the full list. You can see more of Twitter at http://www.nowanowamade.com/Annnnd for those of you wondering what Twitter has to do with The Hole Truth ... I figured that what The Hole Truth needs is a point of access for the rest of the world. To encourage all and sundry to enter the obscure world of arty minigolf. I liked birds as a subject. And especially cos 'birdies' and 'eagles' and 'albatrosses' all seemed so appropriate. So we figured the 'clubhouse' should have a birdie exhibition.
Thennnnnnn I found this pattern for very cute sewable birds. http://www.nowanowa.com/twitter/birdpattern1-1.pdf
Soooo. I emailed the pattern to a few sewers to see if they would take it on as a bit of a fun project. Luckily lots did. And so Twitter was born.
Quite a few local artists have contributed birds. And the latest TAFE stuff has been the icing on the cake. I love it all.
TAFE stuff won't be installed until next week. But all will be in place for the next open days on 23 & 24 May. Hope you all can make it along for Tee.
